THRIVEBODY FITNESS is a small group personal training program in Chester, New York that combines a number of protocols to boost your strength, increase your stamina and improve your overall health – regardless of your current fitness level. Hello, my name is Miguel Adorno. My passion for fitness started at a very young age. During my younger years, I had a lot of enthusiasm and time to devote hours to training but as I got older, became a NYC Police Officer, got married, and had 4 children I could no longer devote hours to training.

I like many people let life get in the way which led me to make poor food choices and allowed no time for training. I started to gain weight and feel horrible. Eventually 20 years later, my lifestyle caught up to me, I was 200lbs and diagnosed with beginning stages of heart disease. After my diagnosis, I felt like I had to get my health back and start over again. It was a hard decision to make but I decided to retire from the NYPD after 21 years of service.

After my retirement, I had to rely back on my 15 years of training experience to lose weight and get my health back. During my process of self-discovery, I quickly realized my new career path and passion for training and helping others to realize their own personal best. I founded ThriveBody Fitness in 2014, five years later I’m proud to be part of the ThriveBody fit family we built, a community of people like you and me that are looking to stay healthy and fit without spending hours in a gym all while having fun.
